Solar Oven S’mores: Harness the Power of the Sun!

Who needs a campfire when you’ve got the summer sun? In this tasty experiment, we’ll build our very own solar ovens using simple materials. Then we’ll test the power of solar energy by melting ooey-gooey chocolate and marshmallows to create the ultimate summer treat: s’mores!

Along the way, we’ll learn how sunlight can be turned into heat energy and explore how engineers design solar-powered tools to help the planet. Plus—did we mention?—you get to eat your experiment when it’s done.
